Chicago’s fashion scene lit up at the Driehaus Fashion Awards when it returned in full force on May 22 to the 21c Museum Hotel Chicago. As one of the city’s longest-running independent fashion shows, the event spotlighted the next generation of emerging designers through a dynamic runway competition.
The 2025 Driehaus Fashion Awards brought together fashion leaders, judges, designers, supporters, and guests for an evening celebrating creativity, education, and student talent. The event continues the legacy of Richard H. Driehaus, whose vision helped support fashion education and create a platform for emerging designers to showcase their work in Chicago.
The program featured student designers, industry judges, and a vibrant runway presentation that highlighted both style and substance. Through the awards, the Driehaus Design Initiative continues to provide visibility, encouragement, and support for young designers as they prepare to enter the fashion industry.
